For over 50 years, MEND has focused on our original founders’ mission of providing hard-working people with a “hand-up” – and a chance to live in a home they can afford.

As we all deal with COVID-19 as a community and a nation, MEND remains committed to focusing on our mission. While these unprecedented times are certainly challenging, we would like to make you aware of the steps we’ve taken to help ensure a healthy environment for our residents and employees.

We are following CDC recommendations for appropriate measures and actions.  Although MEND offices have been closed to the public until further notice, we are available by phone and can be reached at the numbers below:

All maintenance work requests and emergency calls are being monitored and responded to based on priority.

Some community spaces, such as computer and community rooms, are temporarily closed.  The other common areas, such as lobbies, laundry and mail-rooms, continue to be routinely cleaned following the recommended CDC guidelines.

In adherence to the social distancing guidelines, MEND is encouraging that all communication be conducted by telephone, email and mail. However, if an individual urgently needs to meet with a staff member then we will do our very best to set up an appointment, while following the recommended CDC guidelines.
